2-3 mins in the car or a pleasant 15 minute walk (1.5km)
Swimming pool - Serres sur Arget community swimming pool is open during mid-summer and is less than 10 minutes walk from the mill Small supermarket - about 5 mins by car (St Pierre de Riviere)
Restaurant - About 5 mins by car (St Pierre de Riviere). Children’s play area - 15 minutes walk from the mill brings you to the Serres sur Arget playground.

Foix town, capital of the Ariège Pyrenees, is located just 10km (a 10 min drive) from Le Moulin de Balança. In Foix there are several large supermarkets, numerous cafés and restaurants, shops, a market on Friday, tennis courts, swimming pools, cinema and theatre.
